Garlic Ice Cream Anyone?
I haven’t tried it but….
I recently went with my lovely gang of fruit folk to the food and drink expo in Birmingham. We had a stand opposite the garlic farm from the Isle of Wight which at first I thought might not mix too well with our fruits. I soon got over my garlic prejudice when I discovered oak smoked garlic. It’s amazing if you’ve never smelled it you should put it on your list of things to smell in 2008.
Apart from that I also learned that there is an amazing garlic festival we’re hoping to visit where people eat garlic ice cream. My first thoughts? Disgust horror! But I am determined to give it a go as the lovely Darren assures me it is quite a treat. If anyone one has any experience of this I’d appreciate a heads up. I’ve checked it out on youtube to see if he was pulling my leg but apparently it really does exist. Bizarre!
